ONE by ONE Recycling Program

The Bausch + Lomb ONE by ONE Recycling Program is the first and only contact lens, eye care and lens care recycling program in the United States.

Due to their small size and type of plastic, these materials are usually not recyclable through local facilities. As a result, they often end up in landfills or waterways, contributing to plastic pollution. By participating in this program, you help ensure these materials are properly recycled and kept out of the environment.

The program accepts the following items, which must be empty and dry:

  • Used contact lenses and their packaging (blister packs and top foils)
  • Contact lens cases
  • Small-size contact solution bottles and caps (4 ounces and below)
  • Full-size contact solution bottle caps* (10 ounces or more)
  • LUMIFY® Preservative Free plastic trays and paperboard sleeves
  • Bausch + Lomb-branded eye drop bottles, including Biotrue®, Blink® and LUMIFY®
  • Eye drop single dose vials and foil wrapping
  • Biotrue® Micellar Eyelid Cleansing wipes and foil wrapping

Outside paperboard or cardboard packaging, except LUMIFY®Preservative Free packaging, should be placed in your curbside recycling bin.

*Full-size solution bottles are accepted in curbside recycling, but caps often fall off during sorting due to their small size. That is why this program collects caps separately to prevent loss and ensure proper recycling.
